How should I prep for my hair and makeup appointment?
Please arrive with completely clean and dry hair. If your hair is fine or oily, I recommend double washing the roots and only conditioning at the ends, and blow dry upside down. This will give your hair added volume and reduce any oiliness at the roots.
For makeup, arrive with a clean face. I will prep your skin prior to applying makeup, but you can follow your regular skincare regimen the morning of your appointment. A shaped brow can enhance your makeup look, but freshly waxed skin does not allow makeup to adhere, so it is best to get waxed or threaded a couple days prior to your appointment. I recommend avoiding any new skin treatments outside your regular routine the week prior to your appointment.
What's included with my makeup appointment?
With every makeup appointment, skin prep, airbrush makeup, and custom lash application is included. Airbrush makeup can be matched perfectly to your skin tone, and will perfect your complexion without looking heavy. I carry individual, cluster, and full strip lashes in my kit, and will create a lash application that is customized to your look and eye shape.
What brands do you carry in your kit?
I carry many different luxury and professional brands in my kit, all products are tried and true to ensure longevity and durability for your look, while feeling weightless and minimal. Some of these brands include Temptu Airbrush, Hourglass, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Kosas, Nudestix, Tarte, RedKen, Kenra, Big Sexy, Moroccan Oil and many more.
Do you travel?
Travel expenses included in my packages are based on local events. For on location events, the first hour of travel is included. Any additional travel will be charged at the rate at $100/hour, round trip, calculated from my studio in Loomis. Accommodations may be necessary for certain out of town locations, please inquire for more details.
Do you do larger parties?
I am well connected with some of Sacramento's best hair and makeup artists. If your party has more services than I can accommodate on my own, or a tighter timeline, I may need to bring additional artists with me. This service can be added at the rate of $200 per additional artist.
